Welcome to the Tasklium blog. We’ve been heads-down building the app for a while, and this feels like the right moment to start writing about what we’re learning along the way.
What you’ll find here
We plan to write about three things:
Productivity and task management. The ideas behind GTD, how to think about dependencies in your work, why simple systems often beat complex ones, and how to recover when your system breaks down.
Building Tasklium. Decisions we made, tradeoffs we navigated, and occasional post-mortems on features that didn’t work out as planned.
Offline-first software. We believe your tools should work as well at 10,000 feet as they do at your desk. We’ll share what we’ve learned about building reliably for environments without a network.
A note on pace
We’d rather publish one honest post a month than ten posts that exist only to fill a content calendar. If you subscribe and then hear nothing for a while, that’s intentional — we’re building.
